For over 40 years, AF has maintained relatively flat fees for our subrogation and resolution services. As part of our ongoing strategy to drive innovation, we are making strategic investments in our future designed to improve submissions, support timely resolutions, and continue the exceptional service you’ve come to expect from us. In the long term, we fully anticipate that these advancements may allow us to decrease fees.
To accelerate our advanced technology and data-dependent strategy, our industry-led Board of Directors has approved phased fee increases. Beginning July 1, 2026, the fee for arbitration filings will increase from $42 to $50 per filing. Subsequently, in January 2027, the fee will further increase $10, making it $60 per filing. The new fee schedule is available on AF’s website. It’s important to note that the projected overall impact on the industry is estimated to be well under $20 million. This investment will help ensure AF continues to responsibly fund improvements that enhance operational efficiency and member value.
We sincerely appreciate our Board’s insight and unwavering support, as we move forward with these new initiatives and continue implementing our long‑term strategic plan. We are excited about these strategic advancements to support the industry with exceptional service and innovative solutions.
